Dagu, tenggorokan dan dada berwarna hitam kecoklatan, sedangkan dada bagian bawah hingga perut berwarna keputihan suram, dan berbercak kehitaman. Iris coklat gelap, paruh dan kaki hitam. Di bagian kepala terdapat bintik orange di antara mata dan hidung.
