Bagian atas matanya berwarna coklat kemerahan dan coklat muda pada bagian bawahnya. Kepala, dada, dan abdomen berwarna coklat tua, dan sedikit metalik hingga hitam. Sayapnya lebih panjang daripada badannya. Sayapnya transparan dengan ujung berwarna hitam. Pada bagian dasar sayap belakang terdapat corak khas berwarna kuning, coklat tua dan biru metalik.
