Penampakan sisi bawah sayap sama dengan sisi atas. Larva : larva Papilio helenus berwarna hijau dengan belang-belang hitam putih dan abu. Seperti spesies Papilio lainnya, Papilio helenus juga dapat mengeluarkan osmeterium, seperti tanduk bercabang dua saat merasa terancam. Osmeterium ini mengeluarkan cairan berbau tidak sedap yang dapat mengusir predator dan parasit. Pupa : -"}
